My background and why this interests me
I have always enjoyed computer science for as long as I can remember - from creating my scratch account in 2015 to making my first python project, I always wanted to learn more about the digital world.
While I have been interested in computer science for a long time, I have been playing games for longer. For me, games were one of the first things I experienced, with simple toys then primitive devices. Then comes digital games, a whole step up from the small toys that came before. These games have a huge influence on people, starting from a young age.
After playing so many games, I became interested in how they were made. I made my first scratch project (with help from my dad) in 2015, and from there grew a love for coding and creating a digital library of playable games for everyone to enjoy. I later moved on to my first pygame project, and I am looking forward to creating many more different games in the future using more powerful programs such as Unity.
I love the process of making games because is a creative project that everyone can appreciate and that many jobs are based on. It incorperates so many different topics and gives you complete control.
